What We Do

What is Clinical Research?

Through the remarkable work of doctors and scientists, new drugs are being created every year to treat a wide range of disorders and diseases. After many experiments, the final stage of the testing process is to have real people with the specific condition try the medication. Since everyone's body is a little different, this is a critical step to understanding how the new medication will affect the general population, and most importantly, how effective it really is.

Sometimes this step proves that a promising new drug isn't as good as it seems. Other times, it proves that the new medication has miraculous effects.

As with any research, there are risks. For many participants, the hope of having significant relief makes those risks worthwile. We'll be more than happy to outline the specific risks associated with the program you are interested in so that you can make the right decision for you.
